The Saudi Endodontic Society held its 4th International Conference on 09-11 December 2014 at Hayatt Park Hotal,
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A total of 675 participants attended the meeting. The chairman of the Saudi Endodontic Society
Dr. Abdullah Al-Sharif welcomed everybody at the opening ceremony. Ten scientific sessions were given by 7
international speakers namely: Professor James L. Gutmann (Professor Emeritus in Restorative Sciences, Baylor College of
Dentistry, Texas A&M University Health Science Center, Dallas, Texas, USA), Professor Gianluca Gambarini (Department
of Endodontics, the "La Sapienza" - University of Rome, Italy), Dr. Giuseppe Cantatore (Associate Professor of Endodontics
University of Verona, Rome, Italy), Dr. Charbel Allam (Assistant Professor Department of Endodontics School of Dental
Medicine St. Joseph University Beirut– Lebanon), Dr. Bertrand Khayat (Assistant Professor of Endodontics, University
of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA), Dr. Nicola M Grande (Assistant Professor of Endodontics, the Catholic University
of Sacred Heartm Rome, Italy) and Dr. Gianluca Plotino (Senior Lecturer, Department of Endodontics, the "La Sapienza"
- University of Rome, Italy). Six workshops of limited attendance were given by the main speakers. Dr. Mohammed
Al-Zahrani (Albaha Dental Center) wins the award of the late Dr. Afaf Al-Nasser.
Six workshops of limited attendance to include the new rotary instrument (Reciproc, TF Adaptive and pro taper
next) and 2 microsurgical courses were given by the main speakers. Prof. Gutmann workshop was attended by large
number, over 300.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Zahrani (Albaha Dental Center) wins the award of the late Dr. Afaf Al-Nasser.
